HOW TO MAKE A DELICIOUS AND FRESH FILTER COFFEE

There are many ways to make a delicious cup of coffee, but for many Vietnamese people, the moment of waiting for the drops of coffee to fall from the filter has become a cultural feature ingrained in their subconscious. To create a cup of standard filter coffee, not only does it require sophistication in choosing the type of coffee but also meticulousness in each brewing step.

WHAT IS FILTER COFFEE?

A coffee filter includes parts such as the filter body, the lid, the bottom plate, and the filter lid. Made of aluminum or stainless steel, it will keep the water hot for brewing coffee and filter out the most quintessential qualities of the coffee. The bottom plate is placed under the filter body with super small holes to prevent the coffee powder from falling into the cup, giving a complete feeling when drinking.

Filter Phin coffee is special in that people can slowly enjoy the seductive aroma of properly roasted coffee to the light, rich bitterness of each drop that permeates the tip of the tongue,... Meanwhile, other ways of making coffee with many variations can easily dilute the original flavor of the coffee.

HOW TO MAKE DELICIOUS FILTER COFFEE

To be able to make and sip delicious, strong cups of filter coffee every morning at home, to start an effective working day, prepare about 25g of ground coffee and 80 - 100ml of water, then proceed to make filter coffee according to the following steps:

Step 1: Rinse the coffee filter and the cup used to make coffee with boiling water. This helps the filter to heat evenly, ensuring the coffee is delicious when brewed.

Step 2: Put the prepared coffee into the filter, shake the filter gently to create a flat surface on top, then use the lid to press a moderate force on top of the coffee powder. Do this so that when water is poured into the filter, the water will soak into the coffee powder evenly and will not cause the coffee to drip too quickly.

Step 3: Pour about 20ml of boiling water and let the coffee brew for about 2 minutes. Pour slowly so that the coffee expands evenly without overflowing. In addition, to let the coffee at the bottom of the filter absorb water evenly, you can pour a little boiling water into the coffee lid and then place the coffee filter on top.

Step 4: When the coffee has expanded and absorbed all the water, add about 80ml of water to the filter. Cover and wait about 5 minutes for the coffee to drip down, then add sugar to enjoy. If you like to drink milk coffee, before placing the filter to brew, you can add a little condensed milk to the glass. The secret to a good cup of coffee is the time from pouring water until the finished product is about 5 - 7 minutes. If the time is too fast, the coffee will be sour, on the contrary, if the time is too slow, the coffee will be bitter.

In addition, you should note to use an aluminum coffee filter because it will give the most delicious coffee flavor. In particular, the most important thing to have great cups of filter coffee is not to forget to choose quality coffee. There are many different types of coffee on the market today, from coffee beans to ground coffee, Moka coffee, Robusta or Arabica coffee...

You can choose coffee products from 100% Arabica beans, carefully selected in Cau Dat grown at an altitude of 1650m. With a slightly bitter taste, a sour aftertaste, and a sweet taste, Arabica coffee will help you create your own favorite cups of sophisticated filter coffee.
